Griffin Hill Consulting was officially established in October 1999, however the ground work for the company had been laid far in advance by its president and founder Dr. Scott Baird. In 1983, Baird, along with other business partners, formed CNB Consulting, Griffin Hill’s predecessor. At first they consulted on all aspects of business; if there was a problem they would fix it. Little by little it evolved and began focusing on marketing, sales, tax advantages and organizational structuring.

Then in the fall of 1997, Baird decided to return to school and obtain his doctorate. The company was shut down and the other partners went their different ways. In October 1999, two months before receiving his doctorate degree, Baird began the consulting firm known today as Griffin Hill Consulting. Since then, the business has developed into a firm known for its innovation and leadership. Some of their clients have included Nu Skin, Novell, and Xerox Connect. Griffin Hill has helped some of its clients increase sales productivity by 300 percent and profit revenues by 400 percent.
